I have launched a new website for my Football(soccer) club. I am hoping that the new team I am building will be on board for us to become an actual club. I am hoping that we are able to use the site as a community for us and our families. Some features I would like on the site are a picture gallery, wallpapers, equipment reviews and RSS feed from soccer news sites. My hope is to generate an awareness of our presence in the soccer community and get some exposure for the team. The site is currently running off of my main website although it does have its own domain: www.haddonwestfc.com. The site is also a playground for my design abilities allowing me to take a break from work from time to time and just play with some designs for wallpapers, icons, and other soccer related stuff. Design of the site was a process. I went through at least 4 different templates and finally came up with the basic layout it has now. Implementation of some advanced Protoype JS functions are on the “To-Do” list, and I would like to incorporate a calendar function for the “Schedule” page so that it can be syndicated and updated as the seasons progress.
